On Saturday we walked down to the lovely clerk and asked her if she knew we were checking out early. I am on the 4th floor and have issues walking fire to 2 ankle surgeries and vertigo. I asked if she knew how long it would be before they are fixed. She didn't! Then we found out the elevators are no longer working. I asked her if she wanted to know why we were leaving. Got on her computer made a few comments and appeared irritated. As we were talking to the Friday clerk (8pm) and explained that we were going to checkout in the mooring instead of Monday she looked at us and said ok. On Friday evening we once again got lost returning to the hotel so we decided we were going to check out and go to another hotel. The food for breakfast was very carb driven. But it was late so we shut the bathroom door and went to sleep. The people in the room next to us were smoking in their room and we could smell it in our bathroom.

The bathroom was fairly small and had great water pressure! Plus the water got hot quickly. The bed itself was comforting but the pillows were terrible! They are the kind that are flat when you last on them. There were not plugs on both sides of the bed so you could not plug up 2 cpaps. The wood was very dark which made the room dark. The room was clean but certainly outdated. Either way she was delightful to talk to after our experience! We checked into our room 437. We inquired about local places to grab food and she recommended using Uber eats because of the road issues. We laughed about how she must have this and conversation over and over with disgruntled out of towners. She chatted with us about how long it took to locate the hotel. It was Thursday night and the night clerk was so nice.

This is obviously not the fault of the hotel but maybe there should be a disclaimer on how to locate them! After about 45 minutes we FINALLY figured out how to get to the hotel.
We followed the GPS to the address only to be redirected several times due to closed roads and construction. 1.59km from Wonderspaces Austin After a long day we finally arrived in Austin about 10:30pm.
